Panda Brings Holiday Cheer to the Variety Boys and Girls Club

Team Panda spread their giving spirit at our Annual Panda Cares Holiday Wish Event by sponsoring holiday gifts for over 250 members of the Variety Boys and Girls Club in Boyle Heights, CA.
Before the event, club members completed a “profile” where they drew a self-portrait and described their hobbies, goals, and the things that make them happy. Panda Support Center Associates as well as Operations Associates from the local West Los Angeles Region were then invited to sponsor a student by selecting the profile that resonated with them the most.
In preparation for the event, Pandavolunteers got into the holiday spirit and came together to wrap the gifts for the students.
On December 7th, club members and their families were invited to join the Holiday Wish Event. The day consisted of fun games, face painting, decorating fortune cookies for Santa and a delicious Panda Express lunch. We concluded the event by surprising the youth with their special holiday gift and a photo with Mr. and Mrs. Claus.
