Panda Days of Giving Create Holiday Magic

ORGANIZATION: Miramonte Elementary School, Variety Boys & Girls Club, CHLA, Pasadena-Sierra Madre YMCA, San Gabriel Boys & Girls Club, Weingart East LA YMCA, City of Rosemead

DATE:

Through Panda Days of Giving, over 110 Panda associates came together to make the holidays extra special for youth in our communities. We hosted seven volunteer events that brought joy, hope, and support to those who need it most.

Team Panda deployed across various communities to support holiday carnivals, toy giveaways, food drives, and more, building unforgettable moments and sharing our Panda love. A highlight was the Variety Boys & Girls Club Toy Giveaway, where associates distributed nearly 1,000 toys to kids in need.

Our associates also shared their resources to sponsor brand-new shoes for 400 students at Miramonte Elementary School in South El Monte, CA in partnership with Shoes That Fit. To make the day magical, Panda transformed the school into a holiday winter wonderland complete with snow in Southern California!

Students enjoyed festive games, exciting prizes, fun giveaways, books, and of course, delicious Orange Chicken. The celebration ended with a grand finale where each student received a new pair of shoes to take home for the holidays. Beyond the gifts, these students walked away with confidence and memories that will last a lifetime.

Thank you to our Panda Express and Cherng Family Trust teams for making this season of giving possible.

to inspire brighter futures.
