Janson Elementary Leadership Team at Panda’s Support Center

On Monday, June 3rd, Panda Cares hosted a group of 16 students from Janson Elementary School’s Lighthouse Leadership Team for a tour of Panda Restaurant Group's Support Center. Panda has sponsored the Leader in Me Program at Janson since 2008, and the students in who attended exemplify the 7 Habits leadership skills, derived from The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Steven Covey.
During the tour, the students got the chance to interact with Panda associates from various departments throughout the office. Our associates shared with the students about their roles at Panda and how they were able to achieve growth and success in their positions. They also helped students see how the 7 Habits are used in the workplace and connect their leadership skills to the real workforce.
The final stop of the tour was at Panda’s very own test kitchen, where the Students learned about food safety with Chef David and tested a new product with Chef Jimmy. After the tour, students enjoyed a Panda Express catered lunch with Panda Associates.
