Healthy Kids Day

Healthy Kids Day is Joplin Family YMCA’s signature annual event which focuses on teaching parents how they can help kids stay active, healthy, and academically engaged during the summer months when school is not in session. This free event attracts over 1,000 participants and features activities for local families.
Panda volunteers served over 1,200 delicious Panda Express meals at this year’s event. Everyone loved the orange chicken and prizes that the volunteers handed out throughout the day! Panda’s very own Pei Pei the Panda participated in a mascot fun race and dance competition.
A big thank you to Susan Crespino, General Manager of Panda Express Store 2282 in Joplin, MO, and her team for their hard work and dedication to giving back to the community.
