21st Annual Panda Cares Charity Golf Invitational

In 2019, we celebrated a milestone year of giving alongside Panda’s business partners, associates, and Giving Leaders: Andrew and Peggy Cherng, by raising a record-breaking $3,008,888 for underserved youth!
Over 600 golfers, dinner guests and Panda volunteers came together on this sunny day in Carlsbad, CA to pay it forward to the non-profit organizations serving our communities. Together, we fundraised for Panda Cares’ beneficiaries while enjoying fun on-course games, various raffles and live and silent auctions.
Guests continue to support our event year after year because they see the impact their contributions make in the lives of disadvantaged youth. Don Voss, Senior Global Sales Executive at The Coca-Cola Company, believes that we have the responsibility to give back. He stated,“We’re only as strong as our communities. It’s all about giving to be able to make a difference and improve somebody’s life. If you help a little bit, and a lot of people help a little bit, we can go a long way.”
During the evening program the crowd was surprised by two special guests, miracle child Sasha and her mom Isabell, the founders of The Sasha Project LA. Sasha donated two of her hand-painted jackets to the live auction, which were purchased for a total of $14,100 by generous donors.
This day would not be possible without the help of volunteers from Panda’s Support Center and local Panda Express operators.
