| Event | Panda Grants the Holiday Wishes of Rosemead's Future Leaders |
| Details | In continuing Panda's support for the Leader in Me Leadership Program, for the second year in a row, Panda Restaurant Group granted the wishes of 186 deserving children from our local Rosemead and Garvey school districts.
Students, selected by their schools, made a wish list, complete with their goal for this school year and a drawn profile picture of themselves. Associates at the Support Center each chose a child's profile and took it upon themselves to make the young student's holiday wishes come true. On December 10, the students were bussed into the Support Center expecting lunch and holiday entertainment. After a delicious Panda meal, and music by the Panda choir, the children were beyond surprised when at Santa's cue, over 180 Santa's Helpers came pouring in the doors- presenting each child with a present from their wish list. The students received bicycles, clothes, toys and event iPods! This event was an awesome opportunity for the Panda associates to give back to the future leaders of the community: the children! It was a win-win successful event!
Special thanks to those associates who participated by purchasing or donating money towards a gift. Thank you to all who assisted with the coordination and preparation of the event, from those in the kitchen to those who hosted & greeted the children.
